Kendrick Recruitment is currently recruiting for a luxury hotel based in Cape Town. Our client is seeking a highly experienced Director of Food and Beverage to oversee all F&B operations, ensuring exceptional service and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
⢠Lead and manage all food and beverage operations across the hotel
⢠Develop and implement strategies to maximise revenue and guest satisfaction
⢠Maintain high standards of service, hygiene, and compliance with health and safety regulations
⢠Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for the F&B department
⢠Recruit, train, and mentor F&B staff to achieve operational excellence
⢠Plan and manage menus, special events, and banqueting operations
⢠Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
⢠Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements as required
Requirements
⢠Proven experience in a senior F&B management role within a luxury hotel environment
⢠Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets, costs, and profitability
⢠Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
⢠Ability to maintain high standards under pressure and in a fast\-paced environment
⢠Strong organisational and planning skills
⢠Knowledge of F&B trends, service techniques, and operational best practices
Qualifications
⢠Relevant tertiary qualification in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field advantageous
⢠Extensive experience managing multiple F&B outlets and teams
