Divisional Head Cardio

Our esteemed pharmaceutical client is seeking an accomplished Divisional Head specializing in Cardio Care. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development and execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual comprehensive business plans. Collaborating closely with the Marketing and Sales divisions, you will ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives and capitalise on the vast potential of the South African market.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business plans and sales strategies aimed at expanding the customer base to achieve company sales goals and enhance profitability.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain sales talent across all levels to effectively meet sales objectives, while partnering with marketing to achieve market share targets.
• Establish a comprehensive performance monitoring system for the sales and marketing teams, utilizing metrics such as sales reports, monthly meetings, newsletters, and electronic bulletins.
• Deliver ongoing training programs for Medical Sales Representatives to ensure they possess the necessary medical and technical knowledge to accurately and effectively promote the company's products.
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders including healthcare professionals, pharmacists, pharmacist associations, wholesalers, and distributors to drive business growth and maintain strong partnerships.
• Develop and maintain a rolling monthly sales plan to provide input for the supply chain and manufacturing teams.
• Identify key stakeholders for business i.e. HCPs, Pharmacists, Pharmacists Associations, wholesalers, distributors and develop and maintain good relationship with them.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures across all job functions.

If you are a Science Graduate with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of managerial experience, we encourage you to apply. Experience in CVS & Diabetes therapy would be highly desirable.
