Job Overview: As a Driver at Msuez UK, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and personnel to various locations in Cape Town. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business by delivering materials and equipment to our clients and assisting with general tasks as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and personnel to designated locations - Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition - Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Plan and map out the most efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods - Load and unload materials and equipment from the vehicle - Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups - Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth coordination of deliveries - Report any vehicle issues or accidents to the appropriate personnel - Assist with general tasks such as office errands and equipment maintenance as needed Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Valid driver's license and clean driving record - Minimum of 2 years experience as a Driver - Knowledge of Cape Town roads and traffic laws - Ability to lift and carry heavy materials - Excellent time management and organizational skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings as needed We offer competitive salary and benefits, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
