DRIVER / TRUCK ASSISTANT

The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers while maintaining high service standards and vehicle care.

This position occasionally requires long-haul driving, including being away for up to a full week at a time for out-of-town deliveries.

Duties & Responsibilities
Transport goods to customers promptly and safely, including long-distance routes.
Load and unload vehicles.
Maintain an organized travel schedule.
Manage delivery notes and fuel slips accurately.
Ensure the vehicle is fueled, clean, and ready for use.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and complete checklists.
Coordinate with the Logistics Coordinator for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
Merchandise stock and assist with the installation of stands when required.
Adhere to all traffic rules, safety procedures, and company policies.
Represent the company professionally when dealing with customers.
