Job Description - E-Commerce & Marketing Coordinator | Full-time



About us


WEICON SA (Pty) Ltd. is part of the globally recognised WEICON Group, a German manufacturer of adhesives, sealants, technical sprays, protective coatings, greases, and electrical stripping tools. WEICON provides innovative solutions for industrial, trade, and commercial applications.

We are looking for an energetic, motivated, and detail-oriented E-Commerce & Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Cape Town.



You are responsible for


  • E-Commerce Management:
    • Manage and maintain product listings, pricing, promotions, and stock availability across major South African e-commerce platforms (e.g. Takealot, Amazon)
    • Manage and maintain product listings, pricing, promotions, and stock availability of our online WEICON Webshop.
    • Align pricing and strategies across all E-Commerce platforms
    • Ensure accurate product content, descriptions, specifications, and images.
    • Monitor sales performance and analytics to optimise listings to improve visibility and conversion rates.
    • Coordinate with logistics and sales teams to ensure timely order processing and customer satisfaction.
    • Conduct competitor and market analysis and trends to position WEICON products effectively and competitively.
    • Drive E-Commerce turnover growth, brand awareness, and online market share.
  • Marketing & Digital Content Management:
    • Manage digital marketing campaigns aligned with company objectives.
    • Manage and update social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) with provided content from Head Office.
    • Engage with customers who comment, like, or share our content to collaborate with regional sales team.
    • Grow our follower and subscriber base.
    • Coordinate with the Global Marketing Director to schedule monthly newsletters, product updates, and marketing material.
    • Analyse campaign performance and prepare reports with recommendations for improvements.
    • Trade Show and exhibition coordination. Coordinating with Head Office to identify, book, and execute requirements to exhibit at trade fairs.
    • Market research of active sectors and industries to engage with related focus audiences.
    • Social media connection research to develop database of key decision makers related to focus industries to engage with the relative regional sales team.
    • Research SA industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences
    • Ensure that all content, promotions, and messaging align with the company’s brand guidelines.
  • General Administration:
    • Assist with marketing events, exhibitions, and promotions.
    • Coordinate with Head Office E-Commerce and Marketing teams to manage the company’s website content and product database.
    • Provide administrative support to the sales and management teams.
    • Source relevant suppliers for branded wear and other internal marketing requirements.
    • Ensure brand consistency across all digital and offline marketing activities.
    • General office administration support (Filing, organisation, event planning, etc.)




Your profile


  • Diploma/Degree in, E-Commerce, Marketing, Digital Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ proven experience in E-Commerce operations and digital marketing.
  • Solid knowledge of South African E-Commerce platforms and online retail dynamics.
  • Familiarity with CMS (WordPress, Shopify, or similar), SEO/SEM, and digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, content management, and scheduling tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; basic design skills in Canva, Photoshop, or similar are an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong organisational ability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of B2B industrial or technical products will be advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, often managing multiple campaigns and tasks at once.
