ELS Aftercare Supervisor (Maternity Cover)

ROLE SUMMARY:

• To adopt a holistic view to students in their care, promoting the general progress and well-being of individuals attending Aftercare.


• To create a positive learning environment and motivate students to achieve their full potential

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and prepare all activities.


• Manage the teacher assistants in aftercare and give guidance on activities planned for.


• Running the aftercare department, ensure students are monitored and supervised at all times.


• Behave in a professional manner with regard to punctuality, behaviour, and planning.


• Respond to e-mails and telephone messages from parents within 24 hours.


• Show loyalty to all facets of Reddam House.


• Attend all special occasions at the discretion of the ELS Head of School.


• The post holder is required to undertake any other reasonable tasks that the ELS Head determines.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Sklls and Experience:

• A minimum of 1 years experience with students aged 6mnths to 6 years old in a school environment


• Experience with managing staff


• Previous experience with supervising children

Qualifications and Accreditations:

• Teaching degree/diploma


• Certified Teaching Status


• Appropriate right to work
