Engineer

• Ensure optimal plant and equipment performance through inspections, scheduling, and compliance with MHSA.
  
• Maintain legal engineering records, conduct audits, and implement corrective actions.
  
• Manage asset lifecycle, planned maintenance, and breakdown reporting.
  
• Control stock levels, approve critical spares, and manage procurement of engineering parts.
  
• Ensure compliance with all SHEQ standards and PPE requirements.
  
• Lead and manage engineering teams, including training, development, and performance management.
  
• Monitor maintenance quality, liaise with process managers, and handle client complaints.
  

Requirements

• Diploma, BSc, or B-Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  
• Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) in Mining (including factories).
  
• 5 years as an Engineer in a plant or mine environment with legal appointment.
  
• Technical knowledge of coal processing plants and equipment.
  
• Strong leadership, planning, financial, and relationship-building skills.
  
• Proficiency in engineering software and Microsoft Office.
