Engineer (Fan System and Ventilation Engineer

A well-established international engineering company is seeking an experienced and technically proficient Fan System and Ventilation Engineer to support projects across the African and Middle Eastern regions. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to turnkey ventilation system solutions for large-scale mining and industrial projects.



Key Responsibilities:

• Design and selection of fan stations and ventilation systems based on client specifications.


• Prepare and manage detailed technical tender documentation.


• Collaborate with internal engineering and commercial teams to develop optimal project solutions.


• Manage selected projects to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and budget.


• Foster long-term customer relationships through proactive engagement and support.

• Mechanical Engineering degree (BTech, BEng, or BSc Eng).


• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a mining or industrial sales environment with Mine Ventilation Engineering experience.


• Sound technical understanding of fans and ventilation systems.


• Practical knowledge of NEC and FIDIC standard contracts.


• Proven experience with tender documentation and basic project management principles.


• Proficient in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, and project management tools.


• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.


• Membership with ECSA or SAIMechE advantageous.
