Job Description Our client based in Johannesburg has an opportunity for a skilled individual to join their team in the capacity of the Engineering Planner/Buyer. The successful Incumbent will be responsible for the following:
Maintenance Scheduling
System update and schedule maintenance
Monitor and control the system
Purchasing all spares with in line with specified cost, quality and delivery time
Maintaining constant communication with suppliers regarding requirements
Reviewing materials of daily, weekly and monthly basis
Keep accuracy of internal engineering stores
Ensure good housekeeping practices in the Engineering store
Audits and feedback on job cards
Undertake other relevant administrative duties as and when required
Qualifications
Matriculation
Tertiary Qualification in Supply Chain Management or Equivalent
Skills
2-3 years' experience within a similar role
Any technical experience/ background would be advantageous
Previous procurement experience required in a technical field
