Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at a luxury safari lodge in the North West Province. This senior leadership role requires creativity, operational excellence and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences within a luxury lodge environment.

⢠Salary: R30,000 â R33,000 per month, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
⢠Oversee all kitchen operations and food production
⢠Create innovative, seasonal menus aligned with the luxury safari experience
⢠Manage food costs, stock control, ordering and kitchen budgets
⢠Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene and safety
⢠Lead, train and mentor the kitchen brigade
⢠Cater for special dietary requirements and guest preferences
⢠Collaborate with lodge management to enhance the overall guest experience
⢠Maintain consistency in culinary standards across all food offerings
⢠Ensure compliance with all health, safety and food handling regulations
Requirements
⢠Formal culinary qualification
⢠Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior culinary leadership role
⢠Previous luxury lodge, boutique hotel or fine-dining experience preferred
⢠Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
⢠Proven experience in food costing, stock management and kitchen administration
⢠Ability to work effectively in a remote lodge environment
⢠Excellent attention to detail and passion for culinary excellence
⢠Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
