Executive Sous Chef

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a skilled and motivated Executive Sous Chef to join a luxury restaurant group in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will support the Executive Chef in running kitchen operations and delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and ensuring quality and consistency.
  




• Support menu planning, preparation, and presentation to meet the restaurant’s high standards.
  




• Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and professionalism.
  




• Monitor inventory, manage stock control, and assist with ordering supplies.
  




• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
  




• Collaborate with management to enhance service delivery and guest satisfaction.
  




• Step in for the Executive Chef as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar kitchen role in a high-end restaurant.
  




• Strong culinary skills with creativity and attention to detail.
