Experiential Art Director/Designer

We have a tremendous, fully remote opportunity for a conceptual Mid-Senior Experiential Art Director with Activations and agency experience to join the team at a top-notch Experiential and Activations agency.

We‘re looking for an Activations agency Designer/Art Director with solid experience in the experiential space, a refreshing sense of creativity and hot design skills. Additionally, you should have experience putting together creative presentations – and pitch experience would be ideal.

The experiential Art Director is responsible for the overall event look and feel as well as other deliverables associated with event design. You will be required to liaise and engage with internal event planners, sales and marketing and vendors as well as present to Clients. You’ll be required to achieve all design deliverables and work within the agency’s team.

Your creative insight and vision will be useful in conceptualising the production elements of the event and overall experience. You’ll be working alongside the Production team to create exciting installations and activations for unique brands and audiences.

Responsibilities

• Creative Development
• Developing a concept and participating productively
• Working from a brief with a copywriter and strategist, generating concepts for client response
• Working on designs to produce an effective campaign related to concept
• Working alongside our client service team to integrate concepts into final client presentation

Requirements

The successful candidate must have/be:

• Minimum 3-year Diploma in Visual Communication / Graphic Design
• 3-6+ years’ experience in a Design or Art Directing role from a similar situation
• Typographic understanding
• Comprehensive knowledge of print and digital
• Mac Literate
• Adobe CS6 / CC. Minimum Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat Pro
• Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Basic DTP output skills
• Basic understanding of web design
• Illustration skills are advantageous but not required.
