Expert SAP EWM Functional Consultant

This role requires a highly experienced specialist in SAP Extended Warehouse Management to support, enhance, and optimize enterprise warehouse operations across multiple sites.

2. Scope of Work

The SAP EWM Functional Consultant will be responsible for end -to -end functional configuration, optimization, and support of warehouse management processes, including:

• Automation of inventory management processes
  
• Integration with third -party mobility and barcode scanning systems
  
• Enhancement of warehouse operational efficiency and data accuracy
  
• Support of an existing multi -site warehouse management solution
  

The consultant will work within a complex enterprise environment leveraging SAP Extended Warehouse Management integrated with broader SAP and external systems.

3. Key Deliverables

3.1 Analysis & Design

• Assess business requirements and provide effort estimates for enhancements and projects
  
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications
  
• Conduct Fit -to -Standard workshops and document outcomes
  
• Design functional solutions for warehouse processes
  

3.2 Configuration & Implementation

• Configure SAP EWM modules including master data and warehouse structure setup
  
• Define and configure storage types, bins, activity areas, and warehouse processes
  
• Configure inbound/outbound processes (receiving, put -away, picking, packing)
  
• Manage handling units, packaging specifications, and business partner data
  

3.3 Testing & Quality Assurance

• Execute unit, system integration, and user acceptance testing (UT, SIT, UAT)
  
• Ensure system functionality, performance, and process accuracy
  
• Support defect resolution and re -testing cycles
  

3.4 Integration & Technical Collaboration

• Integrate SAP EWM with MM, SD, PM and external systems
  
• Perform IDoc setup and integration testing
  
• Collaborate with ABAP developers on enhancements (RF screens, labels, custom outputs)
  

3.5 Warehouse Operations Support

• Monitor and resolve queue issues (SMQ1, SMQ2, SMQ3)
  
• Monitor warehouse monitor exceptions and optimize performance
  
• Fine -tune system configuration for operational efficiency
  

3.6 Mobility & RF Solutions

• RF Framework design and customization
  
• SAP RF Forms configuration
  
• SAP Fiori and SAP BTP mobility integration support
  

3.7 Data, Migration & Cutover

• Support master data setup and data migration activities
  
• Prepare and execute cutover plans
  
• Ensure successful go -live transitions across multiple sites
  

3.8 Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

• Create functional specifications, configuration documents, and user manuals
  
• Conduct structured knowledge transfer to internal teams
  
• Train business users and support capability building
  

3.9 Post Go -Live Support

• Provide hyper care support per site rollout
  
• Stabilize operations and resolve post -production issues

6. SLA (Service Level Agreement) Framework

• Work will be tracked via approved timesheets
  
• Only actual hours worked are billable
  
• Leave days are non -billable
  
• After -hours and weekend work requires prior approval
  
• Deliverables must align with agreed project timelines and milestones

9. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  
• SAP EWM Certification (Mandatory)

• Proven track record in SAP EWM implementation and customization
  
• Experience across multi -site warehouse environments
