Job Description - External Sales Consultant

External Sales Consultant
Join a leading distributor of electronic security equipment in the East Rand
Boksburg or East Rand, JHB | CTC R20000 to R30000 plus commission | Working hours - 9 am -5 pm

About Our Client

Our client is a distributor of high-end electronic security solutions and a specialist in the security warehouse industry. They provide a range of products from surveillance to access control and focus on delivering technical excellence and stock availability to a nationwide customer base.

The Role: External Sales Consultant

The External Sales Consultant is responsible for driving revenue growth within the East Rand region by managing existing accounts and acquiring new business. This role exists to expand the company's market share through consistent client engagement and professional representation of the security product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply a minimum of 2 years of external sales experience to meet growth targets.
  • Conduct an average of 3 or more high-quality client meetings per day.
  • Grow existing accounts and proactively sign on new clients.
  • Perform productive customer visits and make professional business calls telephonically.
  • Manage a sales pipeline effectively to ensure consistent conversion rates.
  • Plan visits and provide detailed feedback using administrative skills.
  • Maintain strong account management relationships to ensure long-term client retention.
  • Utilize previous experience within the security industry, if applicable.

About You

  • Minimum 2 years of external sales experience.
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
  • No criminal record.
  • Reside within Boksburg or the East Rand area.
  • Proficient in account management and pipeline management.
  • Organized, proactive, and able to work independently in the field.
  • Previous experience within the security industry is preferred.
