External Sales Representative - Randburg, Gauteng - Salary R25 000 to R30 000 + Commission

About the Role

We are looking for a driven and motivated external sales rep to join a growing team. With over 25 years in the industry, we provide specialised products and solutions for industrial automation. You'll work with existing and new clients in sectors like factory automation, power, and renewables, helping them find the right technical solutions.

What You'll Do

• Sell and support technical solutions for industrial automation products
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Visit client sites for meetings, assessments, and presentations
• Work on tenders and projects from start to finish
• Update the CRM system with leads, sales, and client details
• Meet monthly sales, call, and meeting targets
• Keep up to date with product knowledge and training
• Work closely with the sales manager and team

What You Need

• 3-5 years external sales experience in a similar industry
• Technical background in automation, networking, engineering, or electrical fields
• Diploma or studies in BCom, Electrical Engineering, IT, or similar (advantageous)
• Knowledge of:
  • SAP and CRM systems (training provided)
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent English communication skills
• Sales experience in automation, energy, or process control sectors
• Valid South African ID and Code B drivers license (PDP license is a plus)
• Own reliable car
• Must be able to travel for client visits
• Professional, motivated, and solution-driven
