To provide proactive, reliable, and efficient administrative and operational support within the designated functional area, ensuring seamless business processes.

Are you someone who can:

Operational Support & Administration

  • Maintain accurate filing and document management systems to support efficient service delivery.
  • Administer all facilities-related processes, documentation, and operational activities in line with REMS standards.
  • Provide effective administrative support to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency across the functional area.
  • Prepare and distribute timeous and accurate management information to relevant stakeholders.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Cultivate productive working relationships with end-users, project managers, SMEs, service providers, and senior staff.
  • Resolve customer queries professionally and within agreed service timelines.
  • Deliver service excellence through proactive, innovative, and customer‑centric solutions.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Monitor changes in legislation, industry practices, and organisational requirements, and support drafting/implementation of necessary interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, audit standards, and legislative obligations relevant to REMS operations.
  • Support adherence to internal policies, safety standards, and operational guidelines.

Financial Administration

  • Monitor and manage costs and expenses within the approved budget to support cost efficiencies and responsible financial control.

People & Performance Management

  • Plan, coordinate and support performance management, skills development, talent processes and team culture initiatives.
  • Actively manage own development to improve skills, knowledge, and competencies relevant to facilities administration

You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

Qualifications

  • Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
  • A Facilities Management, Property, Business Administration or related qualification (advantageous)

Experience

  • 2–3 years’ experience in facilities administration, property administration, or a related operational support environment.
  • Experience in a corporate, real estate or banking environment (advantageous)

Technical Skills

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with CAFM/maintenance management systems (advantageous)
