Take Full Operational Control in a Fast -Paced Signage Production & Installation Environment

Are you a natural organiser and driver with experience managing complex, multi -stage projects in a production setting? Our client, a high -impact player in the signage industry, is looking for a hands -on leader to oversee all operations from production planning through to final installation.

This is a senior -level opportunity to become the right -hand person to the business owner, managing +/ - 20 signage projects at any given time—each with its own set of moving parts. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all project -based production and installation operations from approval to completion.
  

• Work closely with the MD to plan, execute, and deliver multiple concurrent signage projects.
  

• Manage daily activities across the workshop and installation teams (25+ staff, including mobile rigging crews).
  

• Plan workflows and schedules using project management tools (e.g., Gantt charts) to meet tight deadlines.
  

• Ensure end -to -end quality control: from CNC routing, fabrication, and painting to electrical, assembly, and on -site installation.
  

• Coordinate procurement of raw materials and enforce strong systems and operational discipline.
  

• Report on project progress, team performance, and delivery timelines.
  

• Drive accountability, output, and continuous improvement across all departments.
  

Requirements

Candidate Requirements

• 3–5+ years’ leadership experience in a project -based production environment (signage, events, custom fabrication, etc.).
  

• Deep understanding of signage manufacturing processes and installation requirements.
  

• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
  

• Hands -on, solutions -oriented, and comfortable managing both people and process.
  

• Proficient in project planning and scheduling tools (e.g., Gantt charts).
  

• Not a standard 8–5 mindset—this role requires flexibility, overtime, and a strong personal drive.
  

• Ambitious and eager to grow with the business, taking on increasing responsibility.

• R30 000 CTC per month
