Job Description - FC/Cluster FC

Key Responsibilities

A Financial Controller (FC) or Cluster FC with 5â10+ years of experience is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls across one or multiple business units (clusters). Candidates must hold a professional qualification, specifically a Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA/FCCA.

Financial Reporting & Consolidation: Lead the month-end/year-end closing process, preparing timely and accurate financial statements (BS, P&L, Cash Flow) for multiple entities within the cluster.

Cluster Control & Oversight: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across different locations/entities, ensuring strict adherence to IFRS/local GAAP.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Coordinate the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts, analyzing variances between actuals and budgets to guide management.

Internal Controls & Risk Management: Develop, document, and enforce robust internal control policies and procedures to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risk.

Taxation & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax filings (VAT/CIT/Sales Tax) and regulatory reporting requirements.

Audit Management: Act as the primary point of contact for external and internal auditors, facilitating audits and ensuring smooth closure.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily cash inflows and outflows across the cluster to optimize working capital and liquidity.

Strategic Analysis & Advisory: Provide actionable financial insights and analytical support to senior leadership for decision-making and strategic planning.

Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of accountants and finance professionals, encouraging a high-performance culture.
