Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Field Guide for a luxury safari lodge based in Touws River. This is an exciting opportunity for a nature-driven individual who is dedicated to delivering exceptional guest safari experiences in a high-end wilderness environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading guided game drives, interpreting wildlife and ecosystems, and ensuring guests receive a safe, informative, and unforgettable safari experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct guided game drives and bush walks (where applicable)
  


• Deliver engaging and informative wildlife interpretation and guest experiences
  


• Ensure guest safety and adherence to all conservation protocols
  


• Maintain safari vehicles, equipment, and operational readiness
  


• Share knowledge of fauna, flora, and ecosystems with guests
  


• Provide exceptional guest interaction and personalised safari experiences
  


• Assist with lodge operations when required
  

Requirements:

• FGASA qualification (or equivalent) essential
  


• Valid PDP and driver’s licence
  


• First Aid certification
  


• Strong communication and guest engagement skills
  


• Passion for conservation, wildlife, and hospitality
  


• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and evenings
  


• Previous guiding experience in a luxury lodge environment advantageous
