Finance Manager

• Financial Management: Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management, financial analysis and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  
• Management Accounts & Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts and monthly management reports, providing financial insights and analysis to support management decision-making.
  
• Tax & VAT: Calculate and submit VAT returns and assist with tax provisions, tax computations and other relevant tax requirements.
  
• Audit & Stock Counts: Assist external auditors with the necessary information and work required during annual audits and assist with annual stock counts and related reconciliations.
  
• SAGE Accounting: Utilise SAGE Accounting software for financial record-keeping, reporting and overall financial management.
  
• Hands-On Execution: Engage in the day-to-day financial activities of the business, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the management team to support business objectives, providing financial advice and recommendations.
  
• Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with applicable accounting standards, tax legislation and other regulatory requirements.
  

Requirements

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  
• Proven experience as a Financial Manager, preferably in a similar industry.
  
• Proficiency in ACCPAC Accounting software is essential.
  
• Experience in preparing monthly management accounts and management reports.
  
• Experience with VAT, tax computations and provisions, annual audits and stock counts.
  
• Strong cash-flow management and forecasting skills.
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Hands-on approach with a willingness to engage in all levels of financial management tasks.
