Financial Accountant

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  
• Completed articles (SAICA, SAIPA, or similar)
  
• 2+ years financial accounting experience
  
• Strong Excel and accounting software skills (Sage, Xero, or similar)
  
• Valid driver's licence and own transport
  
• South African ID or valid work permit
  
• Eager to learn (non -negotiable)
  
• Attention to detail
  
• Proactive and comfortable in a fast -paced environment
  
• Resilient under pressure (month -end deadlines don't scare you)
  

• Manage financial reporting and compliance (IFRS, VAT, SARS)
  
• Support project accounting for Solar PV installations
  
• Track project costs – labour, materials, subcontractors
  
• Prepare management accounts and variance reports
  
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
  
• Handle VAT returns and tax compliance
  
• Work with project managers and operations teams
  

• Experience in renewable energy sector
  
• Knowledge of project accounting or job costing
  
• Understanding of SARS eFiling and tax submissions
