FINANCIAL ANALYST - R50k pm - STELLENBOSCH

• Serve as the bridge between finance and operations, driving the implementation and optimisation of transport and financial systems.
  
• Collaborate directly with system developers to enhance the Management System, introducing automated workflows that improve efficiency
  
• Lead the real -time integration of external transaction data via API, ensuring seamless updates in both systems.
  
• Manage the setup and operation of the financial module, covering the full creditors and debtors cycle, including invoices, debit/credit notes, and claims.
  
• Automate the capture and linking of Proof of Delivery (POD) documents to improve delivery tracking and reduce manual effort.
  
• Develop and maintain sales vs. budget reporting tools, and manage the API integration of financial data into the central accounting system.
  
• Partner with international developers to maintain and improve a custom Excel -to -system import tool, enabling the efficient upload of large volumes of financial transactions.
  
• Replace manual ad hoc transaction entry with structured imports, significantly reducing admin time and increasing accuracy.
  
• Build and update live dashboards that provide real -time insights into operations and financial performance, including alerts for uninvoiced loads.
  
• Continuously improve processes through the integration of finance, systems, and data, ensuring scalable and efficient financial operations.
  

Requirements

• ACMA, CGMA -qualified Management Accountant (or equivalent).
  
• 1 -2 years post Articles experience. 
  
• Strong understanding of financial management, reporting, costing, and strategic advisory.
  
• Solid experience using financial systems and tools including SAP, PowerBI, Excel, and Xero.
  
• Comfortable working across multiple industries with a focus on process improvement and value creation.
  
• Able to communicate confidently with executives and work collaboratively with both senior and junior team members.
  
• Exposure to finance process consulting, IT audits, and data analytics is a plus.
  

• Critical thinker with a proactive approach to problem -solving.
  
• Strong business acumen and the ability to translate numbers into actionable insights.
  
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
