Job Description - Finished Goods Stores

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management: Oversee receipt of finished products (bottles, cans, cases) from the production line, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain precise inventory records in an ERP system (e.g., SAP).

Dispatch & Loading: Manage daily dispatch operations, ensuring the correct products and quantities are loaded onto trucks, adhering strictly to the First In, First Out (FIFO) principle.

Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure FGS area cleanliness, proper spacing for products, and safe handling procedures, ensuring products do not touch walls and are stored according to quality standards.

Stock Tracking & Auditing: Perform daily/weekly stock takes, reconcile physical inventory with ledger entries, and immediately report variances to the Warehouse Manager.

Documentation: Maintain daily production transfer notes, dispatch reports, and shipment records.

Expiry Control: Monitor shelf-life and notify management of products reaching expiry dates (typically 7 days prior).
