Job Description - Food Scientist

Duties will include but is not limited to:
Product Development:
  • Create new products for the worldwide market to allow company to expand it’s export footprint
  • Continues new product formulation, development and processing
  • New product development ideas
  • Identify new manufacturing procedures
  • Determine cost-effective methods of producing
 
Quality Control:
  • Assist with the quality control of products
  • Assist to enhance product quality and shelve life
  • Design new food processing policies
  • Monitor food safety protocols and design quality assurance policies
 
Procurement
  • Assist with best procurement of raw materials
  • Predict food quantities and repost estimates
 
Other company enhancements as may be required
