FORKLIFT DRIVERS

The role ensures accurate handling of stock, adherence to safety standards, and support of smooth warehouse operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Operate a forklift to move goods and materials safely within the warehouse.
Load and unload trucks, containers, and storage areas.
Stack and organize pallets in designated storage locations.
Transport goods between receiving, storage, and dispatch areas.
Assist with receiving and dispatching stock accurately.
Verify quantities and inspect goods for damage before movement
Support stock counts and inventory control processes.
Report discrepancies or damaged goods immediately.
Operate forklift in accordance with company safety procedures.
Conduct daily equipment checks before use.
Adhere to occupational health and safety regulations.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Report any safety hazards or equipment faults.
Complete forklift log sheets and movement records.
Assist warehouse team with basic documentation where required.
Follow instructions from supervisors regarding stock movement priorities.
