Front of House/Guest Relations

• Guest Hosting: Welcome arriving guests, conduct lodge orientations, and act as the primary point of contact for guest requests, dietary preferences, and general inquiries.
  
• Front of House Administration: Manage check-ins and check-outs, process guest bills, handle telephone or email inquiries, and coordinate daily guest schedules with the guiding and kitchen teams.
  
• Dining & Bar Supervision: Oversee meal setups (breakfast, lunch, and boma dinners), present menus, serve drinks, and ensure the dining and lounge areas maintain an inviting, high-standard ambiance.
  
• Concierge Services: Assist guests with booking external activities, transfers, or special celebrations.
  
• Quality Control: Do daily walk-throughs of public areas to ensure immaculate presentation and staging.
  

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Front of House, Guest Relations, or Assistant Lodge Management role within a luxury bush lodge or boutique hotel environment.
  
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong basic administrative skills and computer literacy (experience with property management systems like NightsBridge is highly advantageous).
  
• Hospitality Mindset: Exceptional interpersonal skills, an innate ability to anticipate guest needs, and a naturally warm, hosting personality.
  
• Presentation: Spotless professional presentation and grooming.
  
• Logistics: Valid driver’s license is required. Must be enthusiastic about living and working in a tranquil, remote nature reserve environment.
