Frontend / AI-Focused Software Engineer

About the Role

We are expanding our internal technology team and are looking for a capable Full-Stack Software Engineer to help deliver and maintain a modern Azure-based web application environment.

You will work across backend services, frontend development, and database design within a structured and quality-driven engineering setup. The role focuses on building reliable, secure, and scalable solutions that support core business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using .NET (C#).

• Build and enhance frontend components using Blazor (C#).

• Design, implement, and optimise SQL Server databases.

• Implement secure authentication and role-based access controls.

• Contribute to integration work with other internal and external systems.

• Write and maintain unit tests and support broader testing efforts.

• Participate in code reviews and follow structured version control practices.

• Contribute to performance optimisation, reliability, and ongoing platform improvements.

• Support AI-enabled features where required through backend and frontend integration.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience with .NET / C# (backend development).

• Experience with Blazor for frontend development.

• Solid understanding of HTML and CSS fundamentals.

• Experience designing and querying SQL databases.

• Experience writing unit tests.

• Proficiency with Git version control.

• Understanding of secure authentication and role-based access concepts.

Advantageous Experience

• Experience working in Microsoft Azure (Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Blob Storage, Entra ID, Redis Cache).

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, CI/CD pipelines).

• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.

• Exposure to AI integration within enterprise applications.

• Experience with integration, regression, or end-to-end testing.
