Front-End Generalist Developer (Drupal, WordPress, JS) | Cape Town

We are seeking a versatile Front-End Developer with expertise in Drupal and WordPress theming and experience with modern front-end frameworks. This role will support the implementation of highly functional, responsive web solutions across our global marketing and content platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end components for Drupal and WordPress platforms

• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

• Collaborate with back-end developers, designers, and stakeholders to implement new features

• Optimize front-end performance and accessibility

• Integrate APIs and manage content display logic

• 3–5 years of experience in front-end development with Drupal and WordPress theming

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, Vue, React, or Svelte

• Experience with PHP templating, Twig, and WP hooks & filters

• Knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, AJAX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines

• Bonus: Experience with ACF (WordPress), decoupled builds, and basic backend customization
