Our client is a prominent private company that owns a number of established outlets in the Western Cape. They are expanding and have a need for enthusiastic people to support this growth, which includes a Fruit & Veg Department Supervisor.

It is the responsibility of the Fruit & Veg Department Supervisor to create and maintain a fully functioning, profitable Fruit & Veg Department.

Promote excellent customer service and full management of all Fruit & Veg staff members.

Responsibilities:

• Stock management
• Cold chain management
• Signage and pricing
• Adherence to Group merchandising standards
• Promotions
• Customer experience
• Meeting departmental targets
• Hygiene and housekeeping
• Staff management
• Administration

Requirements:

• Task orientated
• Numeracy skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ordering skills
• Diligent in the performance of duties
• Staff management skills
• Must be able to work with people daily

Minimum Qualification and Experience

• 2 years retail management experience in the Fruit & Veg Department
• Computer literacy

Salary - Market related

Working hours - Monday to Sunday, Rotational shifts
