Fruit Technologist

• Determine client needs relating to product specifications and due diligence requirements.
• Develop and communicate clear product specification guidelines to the sales team and pack shed personnel.
• Regular packing facility visits to assist with interpretation of the specifications and perform quality inspections.
• Communicate and interact with clients and service providers. Arrange and lead client visits to our packing facilities.
• Interpret product feedback from customers and resolve problems with packhouses and clients.
• Evaluate packing formats and test new concepts and innovations.

• BSc Agriculture, Horticulture, Food Science or similar qualification with 3 years’ experience in the fruit industry
• Computer literacy
• Strong attention to detail
• Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
