The Role: Creative Copywriter

Are you a wordsmith who can turn a clever line into a campaign that gets people talking? Do you thrive on brainstorming big ideas, shaping brand voices, and collaborating in a buzzing creative environment? If yes – you’re exactly who we’re looking for.

We want a Copywriter with at least 3 years of agency experience, someone who’s proactive, adaptable, and always thinking beyond the brief. You’ll get to work on household-name brands, be part of a dynamic creative team, and have the chance to grow into creative leadership with the support of seasoned mentors.

SEO knowledge is a plus, but not a deal-breaker – we’ll help you sharpen those skills if needed. What matters most is your flair for language, big-picture thinking, and ability to make brands sound unforgettable.

What you’ll do

• Roll out engaging copy for multiple brands – from national campaigns to hyper-local activations.
  

• Write across formats: social media, digital (SEO), CRM comms, in-store marketing, campaign rationales, video and radio scripts.
  

• Partner with art directors, designers, and strategists to conceptualise and roll out campaigns.
  

• Define brand tone and help create CI/voice guidelines.
  

• Stay on top of deadlines, manage your time well, and deliver work that makes an impact.
  

Requirements

What we’re looking for

• A creative copywriter with 3+ years of agency experience.
  

• Excellent English writing skills (multilingual abilities in other South African languages = a big advantage).
  

• Strong conceptual ability and passion for ideas that move people.
  

• A proactive, collaborative spirit with the confidence to own your work.
  

• Experience in SEO copywriting (advantageous, not essential).
  

• A qualification in English, copywriting, or a related field (bonus).
