Job Description - Full-time Digital Channel and Content Manager On-Site JHB R45 000 pm

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Digital Channels & Content Manager to lead the strategic execution of our clients’ digital presence across key social and digital platforms. This is a hands-on, senior-level role ideal for someone who combines content expertise with paid media knowledge and a strong performance mindset.

You will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, managing paid campaigns, and delivering content that drives engagement and measurable results. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, agency environment and brings experience working with fast food or restaurant brands.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and implement effective social media strategies aligned with client goals and brand positioning

· Plan, manage, and optimise paid media campaigns to drive performance across reach, engagement, and conversions

· Create and curate high-quality, on-brand content aligned to platform best practices and digital calendars

· Oversee the roll-out of content across brand channels and YEXT child pages, ensuring timely and accurate publishing

· Analyse content and campaign performance using analytics tools, generating insights to inform future work

· Work closely with internal teams including designers, copywriters, and account managers to ensure smooth execution

· Stay informed on platform changes, algorithm updates, and emerging trends within the fast food and restaurant industry

· Support community management in collaboration with platform teams, ensuring quick and brand-aligned responses

· Identify growth opportunities through social listening, competitive analysis, and industry research

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

· 5+ years of experience in social media management, with a strong focus on content strategy and paid media

· In-depth knowledge of social platforms (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Pinterest, etc.) and their algorithms

· Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager

· Proficiency with analytics and reporting tools such as Meta Business Suite, and Sprout Social

· Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable insights

· Excellent written and visual communication skills with keen attention to detail

· Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and content streams simultaneously

· Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and brand-building

· Previous experience in the fast food or restaurant industry
