GENERAL ASSISTANTS

Duties & Responsibilities
Perform general housekeeping duties within the workshop, including cleaning work areas, floors, pits, and equipment.
Assist artisans, technicians, and fitters with maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities.
Load, unload, move, and store materials, tools, equipment, and spare parts.
Prepare tools, equipment, and workstations before maintenance activities commence.
Assist with the cleaning and servicing of railway components and workshop equipment.
Operate basic hand tools and workshop equipment safely and correctly.
Remove scrap materials and dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures.
Assist with lifting and moving heavy components using appropriate lifting equipment under supervision.
