Job Description:
WKC is offering opportunities to graduate level applicants hoping to get into Environmental Consulting. The role will ultimately be based in the UAE with a focus on offering support to WKC’s EIA and permitting services, including marine and/or terrestrial ecology and biodiversity surveys, environmental monitoring (water quality, sediment quality, noise, etc.) and technical report writing (introduction to EIA, environmental management plans, baseline reports etc.). Strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to successfully multi-task is essential. The position will see the successful candidate working in a dynamic and exciting role with exposure to domestic and international consultancy projects Training and initial office location will be the RSA (Ballito) office for the first 3-6 months.

Candidate Requirements / Skills:

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering disciplines


• Excellent report writing skills


• English Speaker


• Excellent proficiency in MS Office Suite


• Attention-to-detail, meticulous organisational skills


• A full driving license is required (for conversion in UAE)


• No experience in the environmental field is necessary as in-house training will be provided


• Relocate to Abu Dhabi, UAE following 3-6 months in RSA office


• Added benefit: Experience with QGIS
