Our client is an international property and finance group focused on real estate and asset-backed investments.
With an established presence in Jersey, Gibraltar, and London, and a newly established office in South Africa, the group specializes in short-term, property-backed loans primarily in the UK and Channel Islands, as well as land acquisition and joint venture-based property development.

This job will offer you the opportunity to report to the Jersey office, from out of the newly established office based in Somerset West.
Job Description
We are seeking a professionally qualified accountant to support group-level financial reporting, commercial insight, and financial control across global entities.
This position reports directly to the Chairman and offers significant exposure to senior leadership, capital structuring, and investment strategy. It's ideal for a technically strong, commercially curious finance professional looking to grow in an international investment environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management accounts and perform reconciliations for group entities
Produce consolidated group-level financial reports
Monitor and report on financial performance of joint venture projects
Manage invoicing, expenses, and payment workflows
Maintain global cash flow forecasting and liquidity controls
Collaborate with UK-based finance teams on capital planning and analysis
Assist in year-end processes and liaise with auditors and external advisors
Create and manage financial models and investment trackers in Excel
Provide input on loan underwriting processes through financial review
Liaise with external accountants and tax advisors (especially UK/Jersey)
Improve internal financial controls and reporting accuracy
Support the Chairman and Directors with strategic insights and financial advice
Help prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts
CA(SA), SAIPA, or CIMA qualified (recently qualified candidates welcome)
4–6 years' experience in audit, financial reporting, or commercial accounting
High proficiency in Excel and general financial systems
Strong communication skills for UK and international collaboration
Experience in property, real estate finance, or private capital preferred
Proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and commercial thinking
