Job Description
The Group Head of Leadership & Culture is a senior, enterprise‑wide role responsible for defining and stewarding a unifying culture narrative for a diversified Group, architect the frameworks and operating mechanisms that embed that culture, and strengthen leadership effectiveness so that strategy, values and daily behaviours are visibly aligned across clusters and functions.
The role sets Group‑wide culture standards and “tight–loose” guardrails, partners with Exco and cluster leaders to align leadership teams, and designs leadership development that shifts mindsets and habits at scale. It establishes a robust culture measurement rhythm (including the Group’s culture survey) and translates insight into targeted interventions, closing the loop through people analytics and outcomes tracking. In doing so, the role champions inclusion and engagement, ensures all culture work advances business performance, and builds a positive, productive environment in which employees and customers thrive.

Strategic leadership: Serves as a strategic partner to the Human Capital Executive team, ensuring the organisation’s values are reflected in daily practices and embedded consistently across the Group.
Culture development: Defines, implements and sustains the organisational culture by establishing Group-wide standards, strengthening engagement, and enabling improved employee satisfaction and performance.
Leadership development & effectiveness (including Exco succession): Shapes and drives the leadership development agenda, enabling Exco and senior leadership alignment, building long‑term succession readiness, and elevating leadership effectiveness across all clusters.
DEI and engagement: Champions diversity, equity and inclusion, including stewardship of Employee Resource Groups, and ensures DEI principles are integrated into culture, leadership practices and employee experience.
Stakeholder relations: Builds and manages relationships with key stakeholders including community partners, industry bodies and government entities to advance the organisation’s culture, leadership maturity and social impact commitments.
