Job Description - Group Sales Executive

Job Overview:

The Business Development Executive will play a crucial role in proactively creating and driving new sales opportunities with high-value clients in the Transport and HR Solutions sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing revenue through targeted new business development initiatives and fostering strong relationships with existing clients. This individual will also provide monthly reports and insights on performance and prospects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively Develop Sales Opportunities:
    • Identify and approach new clients to generate leads, convert them into new business opportunities, and focus on increasing customer spend with the company.
  • Revenue Growth:
    • Drive revenue through business development, growing both new business and expanding existing client portfolios.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Manage and retain relationships with operations management and clients, providing quality service to both existing and new ad hoc customers.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Provide monthly reports and statistics on sales achievements, pipeline, and prospect activities to senior management.
  • Consultation with Senior Management:
    • Present business trends and opportunities to senior management and contribute to the development of new products and services tailored to client needs.
  • Sales and Marketing Activities:
    • Conduct cold calls to prospective clients and attend weekly feedback meetings with management to review progress and strategy.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Oversee the collection of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), credit applications, and manage rates calculations for clients.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Consistently strive for process improvements within sales and client management activities, ensuring efficient and accurate delivery of services.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client management, with a proven track record of driving revenue and securing high-value clients.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of Transport and HR solutions.
    • In-depth knowledge of industry-specific trends, regulations, and business practices.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including strong presentation and reporting skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Accuracy and Accountability:
    • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability in managing reports, SLAs, and client data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue.
  • Strong presentation and consultative sales skills.
