Job Position: Group Tax Compliance Consultant

Location: PE/Gqeberha
Salary: R25 000 per month commensurate with qualification and experience

Qualifications / Requirements:
• Essential: B.Com Degree or Diploma
• Taxation Qualification would serve to be advantageous
• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position as a Tax Compliance Officer / Consultant preferably in an Accounting and Tax firm or a corporate tax department
• Experience on GreatSoft would be advantageous
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook

Key Performance Areas:
• The preparation and submission of income tax returns, provisional tax returns and dividends tax returns for all Group entities
• Responding to SARS queries and requests for information
• Collating all documentation for annual Group audit purposes
• Monitor SARS eFiling for SARS requests for information, additional assessments and responses to submissions
• Preparation of objections, if applicable, for final review by the Group Head of Tax
• Assist the Group Head of Tax with tax consulting matters
• Assist accounting services on an ad-hoc basis with tax compliance work, as and when required
