Job Description - Groups and Events Billing Coordinator

Primary Responsibilities Include:
Setting reminders to follow up on all payment deadlines with clients.
All payments received and posted on relevant accounts
Checking with Coordinators on the status of their accounts
Checking with the Finance team weekly for any unknown deposits
Ensure charges are raised correctly by the relevant teams (Banqueting and Front Office)
Meeting with clients on site on a daily basis to check whether charges have been billed correctly on the account
Conduct a reconciliation between what the client requested and what they received. Where discrepancies exist, these should be resolved immediately or escalated as required
At the end of each event or group departing the property the account must be accurate and signed off by the client
Handover the recon to the Finance team for further resolution (update paymasters/refunds processing etc.)
Keep records of all amendments from a company perspective to assist in resolving any future queries
Resolve any problems and queries in accordance with contract stipulations, and escalate when required
Follow up daily on PM's and accounts outstanding.
What You Bring:
Previous experience within a luxury hotel environment - preferred.
2-3 years relevant finance experience.
Experience in working with targets and deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent computer literacy.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
