GWO Assistant Instructor

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery Support

• Assist lead instructors in the preparation and facilitation of GWO and technical training modules
  

• Set up training areas and ensure equipment is functional and safe before each session
  

• Help supervise practical exercises and simulations under instructor guidance
  

• Support with the safe use of tools, PPE, and training equipment during sessions
  

• Reinforce learning outcomes by assisting participants with techniques and understanding
  

Administrative and Logistical Tasks

• Prepare training materials and handouts as instructed
  

• Take attendance, help with issuing forms, and collect participant feedback
  

• Organize and store equipment and documentation after training sessions
  

• Assist in updating training records and logging relevant observations
  

Safety and Compliance

• Conduct pre -training safety checks on all equipment and venues
  

• Ensure trainees comply with safety procedures and use PPE correctly
  

• Respond appropriately in case of minor incidents and escalate when needed
  

• Promote a culture of safety and professionalism always
  

Development and Growth

• Participate in SP -Wind’s Instructor Development Pathway
  

• Engage in internal training, coaching, and feedback sessions
  

• Learn about adult learning principles and instructional methods
  

• Prepare to take on more advanced instructor responsibilities over time
