Head Chef | Luxury Safari Lodge | Kruger National Park

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef for a luxury safari lodge located in the Kruger National Park. This is an exceptional opportunity for a culinary professional who thrives in a remote, high-end hospitality environment and is committed to delivering outstanding dining experiences.

Salary: Negotiable (Dependent on Experience)

Accommodation: Live-in position

Key Responsibilities

â¢ Oversee all kitchen operations and food production

â¢ Design and implement innovative, high-quality menus in line with lodge standards

â¢ Lead, train, and manage the kitchen team to ensure consistent excellence

â¢ Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards

â¢ Manage stock control, ordering, and food cost efficiency

â¢ Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction

â¢ Collaborate with management to deliver an elevated dining experience

Requirements

â¢ Proven experience as a Head Chef in a luxury lodge or high-end hospitality environment

â¢ Strong leadership and team management skills

â¢ Excellent culinary ability with a focus on fine dining standards

â¢ Ability to work under pressure in a remote environment

â¢ Strong organisational and stock management skills

â¢ Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations

â¢ Passion for hospitality and guest experience
