Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef for an exclusive luxury villa in the Greater Kruger region.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented culinary professional with a background in high-end fine dining to lead the kitchen and create unforgettable dining experiences for discerning guests. The successful candidate will combine creativity, precision and strong leadership to deliver world-class cuisine in an intimate luxury setting.

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

â¢ Lead the day-to-day operation of the kitchen

â¢ Create and deliver exceptional fine dining menus tailored to guest preferences

â¢ Prepare and present beautifully executed dishes using premium, seasonal ingredients

â¢ Ensure consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and service

â¢ Supervise, mentor and develop the kitchen team

â¢ Maintain exceptional hygiene, health and food safety standards

â¢ Manage stock control, ordering and supplier relationships

â¢ Monitor food costs and minimise wastage while maintaining quality

â¢ Cater for dietary requirements and special requests with creativity and attention to detail

â¢ Collaborate with the hospitality team to deliver seamless and memorable guest experiences

Minimum Requirements

â¢ Previous experience as a Head Chef within a luxury lodge, private villa or five-star hospitality environment

â¢ Strong background in high-end fine dining

â¢ Excellent leadership and team management skills

â¢ Passion for creating innovative and memorable culinary experiences

â¢ Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

â¢ Experience with stock control, ordering and kitchen cost management

â¢ Outstanding organisational and time management skills

â¢ Ability to remain calm and perform under pressure

â¢ Excellent attention to detail and commitment to culinary excellence
