Job Description - Head of People & Culture

Reporting to: CEO


Direct Reports: HR Team



Purpose of the Role


To lead, develop, and execute TreasuryONE’s people strategy during a period of rapid business expansion. The Head of People & Culture will be responsible for building a high-performance, values-driven workforce, optimising talent, and ensuring TreasuryONE is recognised as an employer of choice in the financial services sector.



Key Responsibilities



  • Strategic HR Leadership:

    • Partner with the CEO and executive team to align people strategy with business objectives.

    • Lead the HR function, driving cultural transformation and operational excellence.



  • Talent Development & Performance:

    • Design and implement robust talent development programs, mentoring frameworks, and career pathways.

    • Oversee performance management processes, ensuring clear goal-setting, continuous feedback, and effective recognition.



  • Workforce Optimisation:

    • Analyse workforce needs and implement strategies to align talent with evolving business priorities.

    • Drive effective succession planning and workforce planning initiatives.



  • Employee Engagement & Retention:

    • Develop and execute engagement strategies to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-retention culture.

    • Ensure competitive remuneration, benefits, and career mobility opportunities.



  • HR Operations & Compliance:

    • Oversee HR policies, processes, and compliance with labour legislation.

    • Implement HR analytics to drive data-informed decision-making.





Minimum Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field (Honours or Master’s advantageous).

  • 8+ years’ progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.

  • Proven track record in high-performance Fintech services environments.

  • Demonstrable experience in talent management, performance development, and change management.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
