Head of Short-Term Corporate Actuarial

*Role Overview:*
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Actuary to join our team as the Short-Term Actuarial Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the short-term capital and reserving functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic insights to drive business decisions.

• Key Responsibilities:*
• Drive implementation strategies to support the achievement of sales targets and client-centricity.
• Strategic input and branding.
• Develop and maintain models for short-term capital and reserving requirements.
• Monitor and analyse trends in claims, reserves, and capital adequacy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk management strategies.
• Provide expert advice on actuarial matters to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Actuarial roles, with a focus on short-term capital and reserving.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in actuarial software and Microsoft Excel.
