Job Description - Head Therapist

Head Therapist | Luxury Lodge | Touws River

PACKAGE

â¢ Salary: R12,000 â R15,000 DOE

â¢ Live-in position

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Head Therapist will oversee the wellness offering at a luxury lodge, ensuring a high standard of spa and holistic treatments while delivering an exceptional guest experience. A strong background in wellness and a passion for guest care is preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

â¢ Deliver a range of professional spa and wellness treatments

â¢ Oversee daily spa operations and treatment scheduling

â¢ Ensure consistent high standards of guest service and experience

â¢ Maintain treatment rooms, spa areas and equipment to luxury standards

â¢ Support and guide junior therapists where required

â¢ Manage guest consultations and personalised wellness recommendations

â¢ Ensure hygiene, safety and operational standards are upheld

â¢ Assist with stock control, product usage and basic spa administration

â¢ Promote a calm, professional and welcoming wellness environment

REQUIREMENTS

â¢ Previous experience as a Spa Therapist, preferably in a luxury lodge or hospitality environment

â¢ Strong background in wellness and holistic therapies preferred

â¢ Relevant beauty or spa therapy qualification

â¢ Excellent guest relations and communication skills

â¢ Ability to work independently in a remote lodge environment

â¢ Strong attention to detail and professional presentation

â¢ Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when required
