Housekeeper

Position: Housekeeper Company: Venture Resources Location: Durban, South Africa Contract Details: Full-time Venture Resources, a leading hospitality company in Durban, South Africa, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities, ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Key Responsibilities: - Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas according to company standards - Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities in guest rooms - Stock and maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas - Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints, and take appropriate action to resolve issues - Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department - Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures - Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation - Assist with laundry duties as needed - Perform other duties as assigned by management Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar setting - Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Excellent time management and organizational skills - Strong attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time Contract Details: This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The Housekeeper will work 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime during peak periods. The schedule may include weekends and holidays.
