Housekeeping Supervisor

Our client in the Upper Eastside is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and support our housekeeping team.

This role requires a hands-on leader who has progressed from a Room Attendant level and understands the operational demands of a busy hotel environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 3 years housekeeping experience within a hotel environment
• At least 6 months experience in a supervisory role
• Proven experience working as a Room Attendant (worked up from entry level)
• Strong understanding of hotel housekeeping standards and procedures
• Well-groomed and professionally presented
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead, motivate, and coach a team

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations
• Lead and manage a team of Room Attendants and housekeeping staff
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure brand and quality standards are met
• Ensure efficient room turnaround times in line with occupancy levels
• Train, coach, and support housekeeping team members
• Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain stock control of linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies
• Report maintenance issues and follow up to ensure resolution
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
• Deliver exceptional guest service and respond professionally to guest requests and complaints
