Job Description - HR and Transformation Practitioner

Salary: Market-related, negotiable 

Location: Springs, East Rand

Our client, an engineering and manufacturing company, is seeking an HR and Transformation Practitioner to coordinate skills development, training programmes and transformation initiatives. The role focuses on employee development, Employment Equity support, regulatory reporting, audit readiness and the improvement of HR processes through digital tools and automation.


Responsibilities



  • Facilitate training needs analyses, skills audits, competency development and skills-transfer initiatives.

  • Compile and submit Workplace Skills Plans and Annual Training Reports in accordance with relevant Sector Education and Training Authority requirements.

  • Coordinate learnerships, internships, apprenticeships, bursaries and other structured learning programmes.

  • Monitor learner registrations, attendance, supporting evidence, progress and programme completion.

  • Support Employment Equity reporting, target tracking and corrective action planning.

  • Prepare evidence and coordinate stakeholders for B-BBEE and Employment Equity audits.

  • Facilitate Employment Equity, training committee and skills development meetings, including agendas, minutes and action tracking.

  • Coordinate employee onboarding, induction documentation, training schedules and manager follow-ups.

  • Develop and maintain HR templates, trackers, dashboards, records and compliance systems.

  • Implement artificial intelligence, automation and digital tools to streamline HR administration, reporting, onboarding and training processes.

  • Prepare regulatory, statutory, operational and management reports relating to HR, training and transformation activities.

  • Support training budget control, service-provider sourcing and the monitoring of training effectiveness and development outcomes.


Requirements



  • Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Law, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.

  • Certificates or short courses in Human Resources, Skills Development, Employment Equity, Transformation, B-BBEE, Labour Relations or Learning and Development are advantageous.

  • Three to five years’ relevant experience.

  • Knowledge of skills development, Workplace Skills Plans, Annual Training Reports, Employment Equity, B-BBEE audits, learnerships, bursaries and onboarding.

  • Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft Lists and Access.

  • Basic experience with digital automation or artificial intelligence tools.

  • Strong planning, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, report-writing, recordkeeping and compliance administration skills.

  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines and maintain accurate and confidential records.
