Job Description - HR Business Partner


Human Resources Business Partner | Luxury Hospitality Group | Johannesburg

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join a luxury hospitality group based at their Support Office in Johannesburg. This role requires a people-focused HR professional with strong HR generalist expertise, payroll oversight experience, and a solid understanding of South African labour legislation within a multi-site environment.



Salary: Negotiable depending on experience



Location: Johannesburg

Key Responsibilities:



  • Act as HR Business Partner for Support Office employees across the full employee lifecycle

  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, performance management, and employee development

  • Support employee relations and performance management processes

  • Coach and guide leaders on effective people management and employee engagement

  • Support and enable property HR teams with group HR standards and guidance

  • Oversee payroll coordination, workforce reporting, and HR data accuracy

  • Manage Employment Equity reporting, statutory submissions, and compliance requirements

  • Support skills development tracking and reporting

  • Ensure compliance with BCEA, LRA, Employment Equity Act, POPIA, and internal policies

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR systems, reporting, and governance standards

Requirements:



  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role

  • Experience within a multi-site environment essential

  • Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation

  • Experience with payroll oversight, workforce data, and statutory reporting

  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills

  • Ability to exercise professional judgement and handle confidential matters with discretion
