HR Operations Manager / HR Generalist

THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for an HR Operations Manager / HR Generalist to run the day-to-day operation of the HR function at TreasuryONE. You’ll ensure that performance management, recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, HR compliance, reporting, and learning and development coordination are all executed consistently, professionally, and in line with company standards, operationalising the people strategy set by our Head of People and supporting Business Unit leaders with structured, reliable HR processes

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Implement and manage the quarterly performance review process across all business units, ensuring documented job specs and KPIs are in place


• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process and oversee the 90-day onboarding process for new hires


• Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, managing disciplinary processes and day-to-day HR queries


• Maintain HR policies, ensure compliance with labour legislation, and keep employee records and HR systems (BambooHR) accurate and up to date


• Produce regular HR reports and dashboards, tracking metrics such as attrition, time-to-hire, and performance compliance


• Coordinate the scheduling, logistics, and administration of learning and development interventions, including the training calendar and WSP/ATR support

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• An HR degree/diploma or related qualification (additional training in labour relations, HR analytics, or HR systems advantageous)


• 5–8 years’ HR generalist experience across core HR operations and employee lifecycle processes, including operational coordination of learning and development


• Practical experience in employee relations, recruitment coordination, onboarding, performance administration, payroll input coordination, HR compliance, and HR reporting


• Experience advising line managers on HR processes, policy application, and employee matters


• Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation, including BCEA, LRA, EEA, and POPIA


• Experience in professional services, financial services, fintech, or another high-performance corporate environment (advantageous) 

SELECTION PROCESS

Shortlisted candidates will go through a structured, multi-stage selection process:

• An initial screening interview


• An in-person interview


• A psychometric assessment battery


• A final-round case study presentation, where candidates work through a practical HR operations scenario and present their recommended approach to the panel


• Finally spending a day at TreasuryONE to see your potential work environment in action

REMUNERATION

Remuneration: R635 000–R813 000 CTC per annum, structured over 13 salary payments and inclusive of group life cover and company benefits.
